I have a siamese cat he is an older cat i bought a scratch post but he doesnt seem interested in it?
Is there anything i can spray on the scratch post too attract him to it i have tried catnip allready with no luck?

If he is scratching something in the house, you need to make the pole as close as possible to that material, so if it’s a door or smooth surface, cardboard, if it’s carpet then carpet, if it’s a fabric lounge, then fabric or carpet or sisal rope.
You can cover a wooden board with carpet offcut and attach that to a wall if you so choose too. Be creative, it’s just a matter of working out what suits him.
